As members of the Church of Christ we a have desire to get back to the simple worship of the Church we read about in the New Testament. We believe that Jesus Christ remains the head of the Church. While the responsibility of leadership rest upon a plurality of elders and deacons, where there is an absence of qualified men to fill these roles the evangelist is in charge. We believe in the authority of the bible and that it is God's final revelation, it is sufficient through the preaching of the gospel to provide humanity with salvation in Christ. We believe that in order for us to be acceptable to God our sins must be remitted through baptism (immersion) and that God adds us to His Church after we have obeyed His will. The Church has no human creeds or traditions that binds us for God has revealed through the teachings of Jesus Christ and the apostles all that is required to be complete in worship, life and practice 2Peter 1: 3. We meet for worship and fellowship on the first day of every week as practiced by the early New Testament Church. When we meet we engage in prayer 1Thess 5: 17, giving of our financial blessings, partaking of the Lord's Supper (Communion) 1Cor 11: 23-26, singing (Acappella) Eph 5: 19 and studying the word of God 2Tim 2: 15. We believe that the work of the Church is to be supported by Christians therefore our visitors are under no obligation to give financially, nor do we solicit funds from the public for any purpose. We desire to be known only as Christians with no denominational affiliation (Acts 11: 26). We strive to be sound in doctrine, strong in fellowship and steadfast in prayer. We are here to make a difference in the lives of men and women who are seeking to worship God in spirit and truth (John 4: 24).
